Remember the former things of
old: for I am God, and there is no other; I am
God, and there is none like me, declaring
the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things not yet done,
saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will accomplish all my
purpose. (Isaiah 46: 9-10)
· In the beginning, God created the heavens
and the earth. (Genesis 1: 1)
· God made man (male and female) in His image and
gave humans dominion over the fish, birds, livestock, and every creeping thing
on the earth. (Genesis 1: 26-27)
· What God made was perfect. He allows free will. Eventually Adam
and Eve sinned. Then death entered the world. (Genesis 2: 15-16) (Genesis 3)
· Because of Adam’s sin, all humans are born with a sinful nature.
The wage of sin is death. But the power of sin and death was conquered by Jesus
Christ. (Romans 5:
19) (Romans 6: 23)
· This
age is when each person is given the opportunity to choose: accept God or
reject Him.
That choice determines where each person will spend eternity: with the Lord or
without Him.
· All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. Salvation
from sin is available through Jesus Christ, but those who reject Jesus Christ
will be condemned. (Romans 3: 23-26) (John 3: 16-19)
· People
have no excuse for not knowing about God because His eternal power and divine
nature have been clearly displayed and perceived. The wrath of God will be
against the ungodly and unrighteous. (Romans 1:
18-20)
· The
end of this age is not the end of the world. It is the end of the age in which
Satan is allowed to deceive and tempt humans. (Matthew 13: 39-43)
· Meanwhile,
Jesus Christ has promised to always be with His followers. (Matthew 28: 19-20)
· Jesus
Christ will begin His eternal reign. (Revelation 11:
16-17)
· Jesus Christ will gather His elect and they will be transformed.
(Matthew 24: 29-31)
· The
world’s armies will be gathered for the battle of Armageddon. (Revelation 16:
12-16)
· Jesus Christ will implement God’s wrath (The Day of the Lord).
(Revelation 19: 14-16)
· Satan
will be bound for a thousand years. (Revelation 20: 1-3)
· The
saints will live and reign with Jesus Christ for a thousand years (the
Millennial Age). (Revelation 20: 4-5)
· Satan
will be set loose for short while. (Revelation 20: 7)
· The
world’s armies will assemble for one final battle and will be destroyed by fire
from heaven. (Revelation 20: 8-9)
· Satan
will be cast into the lake of fire for eternal torment. (Revelation 20: 10)
· Heaven
and earth will disappear. (Revelation 20: 11)
· Final
judgment will take place at the Great White Throne. (Revelation 20: 11)
· The
books will be opened and people will be judged. (Revelation 20: 12-13)
· Death
and Hades will be cast into the lake of fire. (Revelation 20: 14)
· Anyone
whose name is not in the book of life will be cast into the lake of fire.
(Revelation 20: 15)
· Everyone
will give an account of himself to God. (Romans 14:
11-12)
· Every
knee shall bow and very tongue shall confess to God.
(Romans 14: 11-12)
· The
first heaven and first earth will be passed away. (Revelation
21: 1)
· There
will be no more sea. (Revelation 21: 1)
· God
will make all things new (a new heaven and a new earth). (Revelation
21: 5-6)
· A
new Jerusalem will come down from heaven. (Revelation 21: 2)
· God
will make His dwelling among His people. (Revelation 21: 3)
Now learn a parable of
the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth
forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh: So likewise, ye, when ye shall see all these things, know
that it is near, even at the doors. (Matthew 24: 32-33) (Mark 13: 28-29)
This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud,
blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
without natural affection, trucebreakers, false
accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, traitors, heady, high-minded, lovers of pleasures more than
lovers of God; having a form of godliness, but
denying the power thereof: from such turn away. (2 Timothy 3: 1-5)
· The
nation of Israel will be restored. This happened in 1948. (Jeremiah 30)
· People
will become more wicked. (2 Timothy 3: 1-5)

messiahs and false prophets lead people astray. (Matthew 24: 5, 11, 23-26)
(Luke 21: 8)
· It
will be as in the days of Noah. (Matthew 24: 36-19)
· Jerusalem
will be surrounded by armies. (Luke 21: 20-24)
· Sacrifice/offering
will be terminated, the Abomination will be set up at the temple. (Daniel 9: 27)

(Ezekiel 38: 7-13)
· People
proclaiming “peace and safety.” (1 Thessalonians 5: 1-3)
· God
will call a man (bird of prey) from the far east to destroy Mystery Babylon.
(Isaiah 46-47)

(Ezekiel 39:4) (Revelation 19: 17)
The
Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering
to us, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to
repentance. (2 Peter 3: 9)
God established a calendar and gave it to the Hebrew people. The
timing of the festivals correlates with Bible prophecies and foreshadows end
times events.
Based on Leviticus 23, God commanded the Hebrew people to observe the
following sacred assemblies:
· The
Sabbath Day (A Day of Rest). (Genesis 2: 3) (Exodus 20: 8) (Leviticus 23: 1-3)
· The Sabbath Year (A Year
of Rest). (Leviticus 25: 1-7) (Leviticus 25: 18-22)
· The
Jubilee Year (A Time of Rest & Redemption) (Leviticus 25: 8-55)
· A
Covenant between God and His people. (Leviticus 25) (Leviticus 26: 1-3)
· Blessings
for obedience.
o
Plentiful crops, peace, no sword, no beasts. (Leviticus 26: 4-6)
o
Victory over their enemies (Leviticus 26: 7-8)
o
Flourish, multiply in numbers, God with them. (Leviticus 26: 9-13)
· Punishments
for disobedience. (Leviticus 26: 14-15)
o
Terror, consumption, victim to enemies. (Leviticus 26: 16-17)
o
Poor crops, wild beasts, sword, pestilence (Leviticus 26: 20, 22,
25)
o
Punishment will be increased 7 times. (Leviticus 26: 18, 21,
23-24, 27-28)
o
Famine (and cannibalism), cities destroyed, desolate land, exile
(Leviticus 26: 29-32)
o
God’s holy land will finally observe its Sabbath Year rest.
(Leviticus 26: 34-35)
Seventy weeks are
determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression,
to make an end of sins, to make reconciliation for iniquity, to bring in
everlasting righteousness, to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint
the most Holy. (Daniel 9: 24)
God’s judgment is counted out in “weeks” (“sevens”) (7-year increments)
(Daniel 9: 24-27)
· The
70 “weeks” are part of God’s judgment – it is NOT God’s wrath.
· The
70 “weeks” total 490 years (70 x 7 = 490).
· It
appears that 69 of the 70 “weeks” have been completed.
· When
the 70 “weeks” are completed, “everlasting righteousness” will be brought in
and “the most holy” will be anointed: Jesus Christ will begin His reign.
· The
Antichrist will confirm a 7-year covenant with many. (Daniel 9: 27)
· Halfway
through the 7 years, he will break the covenant. (Daniel 9: 27)
· The
Antichrist will put an end to temple sacrifice and offering (at the 3rd
Temple). (Daniel 9: 27)
· The
Abomination that causes desolation will be set up. (Daniel 9: 27)
· When
the Abomination is set up in the holy place (the 3rd temple), the
Gentiles will begin trampling the temple, and the Great Tribulation begins.
(Matthew 24: 15) (Revelation 11: 1-3)
· The
Antichrist will eventually be destroyed (by Jesus Christ). (Daniel 9: 27)
(Revelation 19: 20)
· The
2 Witnesses will testify for 1260 days (during the Great Tribulation).
(Revelation 11: 1-3)
· From
the time that the daily sacrifice is terminated and the abomination is set up
(until the end of this age) will be 1290 days. (Daniel 12: 11)
· 1290
– 1260 = 30. Will the daily sacrifice be stopped 30 days before the abomination
is set up?
· Blessed
is the one who waits and arrives at the 1335 days. (Daniel 12: 12) Jesus’
coronation?
· 1335
– 1290 = 45. Will there be 45 days between the end of the Great Tribulation and
the time that Jesus arrives at Armageddon (when the Jewish people will finally be
able to recognize their Jewish Messiah), or when Jesus ascends to His throne in
Jerusalem (Emmanuel: God with us)?
End Times Prophecies describe 7 different Churches:
In Revelation 1-3, Jesus Christ addressed 7 churches that existed
at the time John received the revelation. Jesus’ description of the churches
still applies to various types of churches today.
This church:
But this church:
This church:
· Has endured tribulation and poverty. (Revelation
2: 9)
· Has been blasphemed by false Jews (the synagogue of Satan). (Revelation
2: 9)
· Will
endure more suffering and will endure tribulation for 10 days. (Revelation 2:
10)
· Some
will be cast into prison and tried. (Revelation 2: 10)
· Will
receive a crown of life if they remain faithful despite tribulation.
(Revelation 2: 10)
This church:
· Is physically located near Satan’s throne (the Pergamon Altar)
(aka Throne of Zeus). It was previously in Pergamon (Turkey). The Pergamon
Altar is currently located in Berlin (Germany) at the Pergamon Museum. (Revelation
2: 13)
· Is faithful and has not denied Jesus’s name. (Revelation
2: 13)
But this church:
· Holds to the teaching of Balaam and Nicolaitans (sexual immorality
and eating food sacrificed to idols). (Revelation 2: 14-15)
· Needs to repent or Jesus will fight against them.
(Revelation 2: 16)
This church:
· Demonstrates love, patience, and service. (Revelation
2: 19)
· Has faith that is evidenced with works (even more than at first). (Revelation
2: 19)
· Has some people who have remained faithful to Jesus. (Revelation
2: 24)
But this church:
· Tolerates Jezebel (a prophetess who seduces believers into sexual
immorality and eating things sacrificed to idols). (Revelation
2: 20-23)
· Has people who have learned the deep things of Satan. (Revelation
2: 24)
· Needs to repent or they will go through great tribulation.
(Revelation 2: 22-23)
This church:
· Has a few people who have not been spiritually unfaithful. (Revelation
3: 4)
But this church:
· Has a reputation of being spiritually alive but is spiritually
dead. (Revelation 3: 1)
· Has works that are not perfect / complete. (Revelation
3: 2)
· Needs to be watchful and strengthen what is dying. (Revelation
3: 3)
· Needs to repent and hold onto the truth they had received and
heard. (Revelation 3: 3)
· Is at risk of having names blotted out of the book of life. (Revelation
3: 5)
This church:
· Has very little strength. (Revelation 3: 8)
· Has remained faithful and kept Jesus’ word. (Revelation
3: 8)
· Has not denied Jesus. (Revelation 3: 8)
· Has patiently endured persecution by false Jews (synagogue of
Satan). (Revelation 3: 9)
· Needs to hold onto the crown that Jesus gives them. (Revelation
3: 11)
· Will be protected from the time of Great Tribulation. (Revelation
3: 10)
This scripture is describing
churches in which Christians are severely persecuted and/or martyred.
Note: churches in western nations
have enjoyed a significant amount of power and very little persecution in the
past 100+ years (therefore, this does not appear to be describing western
churches).
This church:
· Claims to be rich in material things and in need of nothing. (Revelation
3: 17)
· Is spiritually wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked. (Revelation
3: 17)
· Needs to be made righteous, refined in the fire, and eyes opened. (Revelation
3: 18)
· Needs to repent and be zealous. (Revelation
3: 19)
· There
are 10 virgins awaiting the Bridegroom’s arrival.
(Revelation 25: 1)
· The
“wise” virgins prepared for the possibility that the Bridegroom
might arrive later than expected. (Revelation 25: 2, 4)
· The
“foolish” virgins did not prepare for a possible delay. (Revelation 25: 3)
· While
the Bridegroom tarried, all 10 virgins fell asleep. (Revelation 25: 5)
· When
they were awakened and realized that the Bridegroom
was about to arrive, they trimmed their lamps. (Revelation 25: 6-7)
· The
foolish virgins ran out of oil and went away to buy more oil. (Revelation 25:
8-9)
· When
the Bridegroom arrived, the ones that were ready were brought into the marriage
supper (of the Lamb) and the door was closed. (Revelation 25: 10)
· When
the ones who were not ready finally got back from buying oil, the Bridegroom told them to go away. (Revelation 25: 11-12)
· He
said that He didn’t know them (He didn’t say that He never knew them). They had
become strangers to Him (they had fallen out of relationship with Him). (Revelation
25: 11-12)
This is clearly a warning that Jesus Christ might not come for His
Bride as soon as we think/hope He will. Therefore, Christians must be
spiritually prepared for the possibility that we might be here during the time
of Great Tribulation. Half of the virgins (Christians) were not admitted to the
wedding supper.
Now the
Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the
faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of
demons, speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their own
conscience seared with a hot iron (1 Timothy
4: 1-2)
· Before
Jesus Christ returns, the Antichrist will be revealed. (2 Thessalonians 2: 2-3)
· Before
Jesus Christ returns, there will be a falling away from the faith. (2
Thessalonians 2: 2-3)
· Which
believers are most at risk for falling away from their faith?
o
The believers who are lukewarm toward Jesus Christ. (Revelation 3:
14-22)
o
The believers who follow false teachers. (2 Timothy 4: 2-4) (2
Peter 2)
o
The believers who did not prepare for the possibility that they
might be here during the Great Tribulation because they were taught that the
rapture will happen beforehand.
o
Would these believers not feel betrayed, bewildered, terrified, and
spiritually unprepared if they find themselves experiencing Great Tribulation?
Preach the
word; be prepared
in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and
encourage—with great patience and careful instruction.
For the time will come when people
will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead,
to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of
teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. They
will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths.
But you, keep your head in all
situations, endure hardship, do
the work of an evangelist, discharge
all the duties of your ministry. (2 Timothy 4: 2-5)
End Times Prophecies describe 3 Epic Battles:

The first 4 Seals were Horsemen.
According to the calendar that God gave the Hebrews, each of the
Horsemen were released on the last day of a Sabbath Year, exactly 7 years

to another, as iron is not mixed with clay. (Daniel 2: 43)
· Something referred to as “iron” will “mingle themselves with the
seed of men” (humans).
Apparently, the “iron” described in this Scripture is not human. (Daniel 2:

· One of the 7 heads has a deadly wound that was healed. This
indicates that one of the heads was once dead but will live again. (Revelation
13: 3)
o
None of the 4 Beasts in Daniel are
described as having a fatally wounded head.
o
But the Scarlet Beast (that the
Great Harlot rides) has 7 heads. There will be an 8th king that was
of the 7 ancient kings. He once lived, was not alive at the time of the

· It
appears that the 3 kings that will be usurped by the Antichrist (Daniel 7: 8) Daniel 7: 24-26) will be: Britain (the

who worships the beast or his image or accepts the Mark of the Beast (the name
or number of the Beast) on/in the forehead or right hand will be tormented
forever. (Revelation 14: 9-11) (Revelation 16: 2)

the image of the Beast to kill anyone who will not worship it. (Revelation 13:

number of the beast is the number of a man (666). (Revelation 13: 18)
Immediately after the
tribulation of those days shall the sun be
darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from
heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven:
and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of
man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a
trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one

26-27)
· Redemption
is at hand when Jesus is seen returning in power and great glory (after the Great
Tribulation). (Matthew 24: 29-31) (Luke 21: 22, 27-18)
But of the times and
the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you. For yourselves
know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the
night. For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction
cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not
escape. (1 Thessalonians 5: 1-3)

wrath includes the 7 Golden Bowls/Vials. (Revelation 15-16)
· The
7th Bowl/Vial is “the Day of the Lord.” (Revelation 15-16)

has not appointed us (those who have received salvation by Jesus Christ) to
God’s wrath. Note: God can protect us from His wrath in whatever way He
chooses. (1 Thessalonians 5: 1-11)
· God
is angry with those who came against Jerusalem and His people. (Zechariah 14:
1-15)
· God’s
wrath is intended for the wicked, ungodly, and unrighteous because they
intentionally turned away from the truth about God. They are without excuse.
(Romans 1: 18-32)
Wherefore God also
gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonor
their own bodies between themselves: who changed the truth of God into a lie,
and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed
forever. Amen.
For this cause God
gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural
use into that which is against nature: And likewise, also the men, leaving the
natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men
working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of
their error which was meet.
And even as they did
not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate
mind, to do those things which are ought not to be done; being filled with all
unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness;
full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, backbiters, haters
of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to
parents, without understanding, covenant-breakers, without natural affection,
implacable, unmerciful:
Who knowing the
judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not
only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them. (Romans
1: 18-32)
And I
saw another sign in heaven, great and marvelous, seven angels having the seven last
plagues; for in them is filled up the wrath of God.
(Revelation 15: 1)
And I
heard a great voice out of the temple saying to the seven angels, “Go your
ways, and pour out the vials of the wrath of God upon the earth.” (Revelation
16: 1)
· They
will be sealed just before God’s wrath is poured out. (Revelation 7: 1-3)
· They
will be 12,000 from each of the 12 tribes (Revelation 7: 1-8). This appears to

their Messiah (Jesus Christ) when He arrives to save the Jewish remnant at the
Battle of Armageddon.
· They
will be Jewish men and they will be virgins. (Revelation 14: 1-5)
· They
will have a special place in heaven. (Revelation 14: 3)
· They
will be called “first fruits” (Revelation 14: 4). This appears to be because
they are the first of the Jewish people to receive Jesus as their Savior after
the time of the Gentiles is over.
· Grievous sores fall upon those who had the mark
of the beast, and upon them which worshipped his image.
(Revelation 16: 2)
· Because
the mark of the beast is part of the Great Tribulation, this confirms that the
wrath of God is not poured out until after the Great Tribulation.
· The sea becomes as the blood of a dead man; every
living soul died in the sea. (Revelation 16: 3)

Lord). (Revelation 16: 12-16)

13: 24-43)

addition, those who divided up God’s holy land and cast lots for His people
will be gathered to the valley of Jehoshaphat (aka Armageddon). (Joel 3: 1-3)
· There will be thunders, and
lightnings; and a great earthquake, such as was not since men were upon the
earth. The great city will be
divided into three parts, and the nations’ cities will fall. Every island and
mountain disappear. 100-pound hail will fall out of
heaven onto men and they will again blaspheme God. (Revelation
16: 17-21)
· Mystery
Babylon will be destroyed in a single hour. (Revelation 14: 8) (Revelation 16:

will tread the winepress of God’s wrath at the battle of Armageddon (the Day of
the Lord). (Revelation 19: 15)
· The
return of Jesus Christ will be unmistakable. Everyone will see Him at the same
time (like lightning in heaven). Jesus Christ will return in power and great
glory with the armies of heaven.
· The
sun and moon will be darkened, the stars will fall from heaven, and the heavens
will roll up like a scroll.

to the total population of the world since time began, few find the narrow gate
and path.
(Matthew 7: 13-14)
· Parable
of the 10 Virgins (Matthew 25: 1-13)
o
The number “10” represents a complete number. “Virgins” represent
the people who have received God’s Holy Spirit and have not been spiritually
unfaithful.
o
All 10 virgins fell asleep (spiritually). Then they are awakened.
o
The 5 wise virgins are invited into the wedding supper.

enough oil (Holy Spirit) to see them through any delay. They remained in
relationship with Him.

are not raptured).
