7 When the Lamb opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature say, “Come!” 8 I looked, and there before me was a pale horse! Its rider was named Death, and Hades was following close behind him. They were given power over a fourth of the earth to kill by sword, famine and plague, and by the wild beasts of the earth. (Revelation 6: 7-8) NIV
He Rode a Pale Green Horse
The word used in the Holy Bible is “chloros.” In other places in the Bible, that word is translated as “green” or “pale green.” Since no one has seen a green horse, most Bible translations kept the word pale and dropped the green. According to the most accurate translation: this rider rode a pale green horse.
His Name is Death, & Hades (Hell) was Close Behind Him
The name of this rider is Death. Hell follows this rider – not heaven. This rider will influence people to kill / murder – but those who kill for this rider will end up in hell (not heaven).
He Kills by Sword, Famine, Plague, & Wild Beasts
This does not provide a description of people killing each other (e.g. war). It describes extreme persecution, murder, and execution. This rider is involved in killing people by the sword, famine, plagues, and wild beasts.
He is Given Power Over a Fourth of the Earth
This rider will wield control over a fourth of the earth. There will be severe persecution, murders, and executions in that area.
The Terrifying Beast
The description of this rider appears to also fit the description of the terrifying beast with 10 horns described by Daniel:
7 “After that, in my vision at night I looked, and there before me was a fourth beast—terrifying and frightening and very powerful. It had large iron teeth; it crushed and devoured its victims and trampled underfoot whatever was left. It was different from all the former beasts, and it had ten horns. (Daniel 7: 7)
23 “He gave me this explanation: ‘The fourth beast is a fourth kingdom that will appear on earth. It will be different from all the other kingdoms and will devour the whole earth, trampling it down and crushing it. (Daniel 7: 23)
Significance
The first 4 riders described in Revelation 6 work together to prepare the way for the Great Tribulation. Each rider plays a special role in events that take place before and during the Great Tribulation.
The 4th rider appears to be a spirit that specializes in persecution and death. It appears to prepare the way for the Terrifying Beast of the Great Tribulation. It will be involved in the extreme persecution of Jews and Christians that takes place during the Great Tribulation.
Who Might This Rider Be?
There is currently a political / religious entity that fits the description of this rider: Islam.
The Color Green
Green is the color that is associated with the prophet of Islam: Muhammad. In addition, the color green is prominently featured at Islamic mosques.
Death & Hell
Islamic suicide bombers believe that if they die while killing people in the name of Allah, they will be a martyr for Allah and will have the assurance of going to paradise. It does not matter to them that they are killing unarmed people (including women and children). Since non-Muslims are considered less than human, they don’t consider it to be murder.
Islamic law mandates death for anyone who attempts to leave Islam. According to the Koran, anyone who kills an apostate is doing Allah’s will. Islam also permits the killing of those who break Islamic law (e.g. Muslim men are allowed to marry non-Muslim women but if a Muslim woman marries a non-Muslim man, Islam condones killing her… it is called an “honor” killing).
ISIS propaganda includes the release of videos which portray them killing (beheading) their captives. They primarily target non-Muslims. They also target anyone who does not follow the letter of Sharia Law as mandated in the Koran. ISIS is actually following what the Koran mandates. They are not “perverting” Islam.
According to the Holy Bible, murder is a sin. The murderer will be going to hell – not paradise. Hell closely follows the rider named Death.
Kills with a Sword, Famine, Plague, & Wild Beasts
Islam’s weapon of choice is a sword. The Islamic symbols usually include at least one sword or a set of crossed swords.
Islamic law (Sharia law) has a preferred method of execution: beheading with a sword. This is evidenced by the videos that ISIS promotes. In addition, the Internet has multiple photos of people being beheaded in the public square due to breaking an Islamic law. They have also been known to kill people by cutting off their hands / feet and then letting them bleed to death. In addition to the sword, Islamic fundamentalists also kill people by stoning, famine, plagues, and wild beasts.
Islamic terrorist attacks throughout the world demonstrate Islam’s one-sided method of killing. Instead of two-way fighting (e.g. hand-to-hand combat), terrorists target unarmed and/or unsuspecting people and detonate explosions in an effort to indiscriminately kill as many people as possible. It does not matter to them if women or children are killed. Their goal is carnage.
A Fourth of the Earth
Islam currently controls about one fourth of the world’s population and almost one fourth of the earth. The Islamic-controlled nations are primarily in the middle east, Africa, and Indonesia. The people of those nations tend to live in poverty and many barely have enough to eat.
What has this Rider already Accomplished?
It appears that the 4th horseman of the Apocalypse was revealed in 2015 (a Shemitah year) when Islam began to dramatically increased its mass migration into non-Muslim nations. Once there are sufficient numbers of Muslims in Europe, Islam will control one fourth of the earth.
Since 2008 (the previous Shemitah year), Islamic immigration has increased exponentially. Prior to 2008, the average number of Muslims entering the USA was 50,000 per year. Since 2008, the average number of Muslims entering the USA has been 100,000 per year. In recent years those numbers have increased even more.
In the few days since September 13, 2015 (the 29th of Elul), tens of thousands of Muslim “refugees” have begun fleeing Syria and other Islamic countries. They are migrating in massive numbers from Islamic-controlled nations to non-Muslim countries. (See: What is this Mysterious Image?)
Islamic fundamentalist groups (e.g. ISIS) will certainly use this opportunity to plant additional Islamic terrorists within non-Muslim countries. The Muslim refugees are being given the rights of immigrants (e.g. access to government services, driver’s licenses, voting privileges). In addition, the massive numbers of “refugees” arriving over such a short period of time will cause an excessive strain on the hosting nation’s already fragile economies.
The world is about to change dramatically.
Germany reports that the Muslim refugee camps have rampant violence against women and non-Muslims. Muslim women are being raped if they are outdoors and not attended by a man. Non-Muslims are being beaten and/or raped. Non-Muslim refugees now avoid the refugee camps and attempt to hide elsewhere due to severe persecution from Muslims.
It is worth noting that earlier this year, Christian refugees attempted to flee severe persecution from Islamic-controlled areas and tried to immigrate to non-Muslim nations but the world turned them away. In some cases, Christians were even pushed overboard in the Mediterranean and left to die by Muslims. Now that these Muslims are the refugees, the world is welcoming the Muslim refugees. How can this be happening? Today’s world seems to be upside-down.
The 4th rider appears to be a spirit of Death that correlates with Islam.
If so, the 4th rider is preparing Islam to be the Terrifying Beast of the Great Tribulation.
It appears that All 4 Horsemen of the Apocalypse have arrived…
& the 4th Horseman has almost finished his part.
